this came to us with the error...can anyone point us in the right direction? is this worth fixing? how old is it...

It was a $400 printer when it was new in 2006
Error 153 is the black unit
"ID unit fusecannot be disconnected"... I do believe that is japlish for The ID fuse should have blown but did not
If anything simple doesn't fix it... Toss it -

we moved the black unit to a different slot and the error cleared...the engine control board must not be popping the fuse on new units put into the black slot...working at this time...Comment
