Usually its the 22pba06 if its not the shuttle motor.

Run an output test on 01m4 in cold sds. You should hear and/or see it moving up and down. Just to be sure, its the one that rides up/down on a plastic vane actually moving the transfer roller to shuttle the master front to back. If not verify when m/c is warming up that master is moving front to back of m/c. On all fours using a flashlight you can see if its moving. You're just verifying that it is or isnt moving.

24 vdc for the motor is coming from the 22pba06 which lays flat underneath the image processing section behind the left side cover. Remove one 7mm screw and remove the fan hose. A a 5.5mm with a magnetic tip helps to get the pba out. If its shot you'll probably smell it.

If the motor is definitely moving and in warm up mode you can see the opc shuttling front to back then you'll want to look at the setup clutch. Usually rust will cause it to bind. It moves the ttf down to the opc and when it doesnt completely disengage has been known to cause these codes too. The friction from the binding clutch keeps the opc from traveling freely. If this is the cause make sure you read the directions completely before going out to the call. Its not for the feint of heart.

The gap sensor unit you're referring to is really 2 edge sensor encoders. 01b3 and 01b4. You can run an input test in sds to test these. Put your finger in and out of the sensors after starting the test and you can effectively eliminate them as suspects when you hear beeps.

The opc isnt going to be the reason for this code UNLESS its on backwards. The retangular cutout need to be at the front of the m/c.
