[Error Code] HP M775 scanner error 30.01.44

Hello

I wiped the hard drive and installed newest firmware. Didn't help. It was 3 months ago.
I said that the next move is to replace scanner board and then if that won't work i'll have to replace formatter.

When the client got prices he refused to fix the machine but now (3 months later) he is considering it.

Is it worth to check wiring between boards and if possible replace wirings?
Or should I just start by replacing SCB and then formatter?

Had this 2 times, and in both cases i had to change the scanner-assy.

So its not probably related to scanner control board or formatter?
First choice should be scanner assembly?
