I haven't found any way to reset drumcounters in this machine. On the older versions you could reset all counters in Service Mode Level 2.

I think the only way to reset a drumcounter is to replace the drum.

Yes. It's been a while since I've worked on one but I know you can reset it through the user menus. A new one won't reset the count. You have to do it manually I'm pretty sure.

In many Oki drums is a fuse that blows when you place the new drum in the printer. This is the sign for the printer to set the drumcounter to zero. On the Menu List you will see a drum life of 99%.
I'm servicing Oki machines almost daily and all consumable counters are set to zero automatically when you place them.
Sometimes the fuse on an new drum is already blown, so the machine won't reset the counter. On earlier machines you could reset them manually by entering Service Mode Level 2. I haven't found this mode on the C5700.

Ooops. I misread the model. I was thinking of the Okifax 5700. Sorry.

The model numbers could sometimes be very confusing!
