Hello, my printer only prints with stripes.
I bought the same defective printer for spare parts and replaced the 4 LED exposure strips, but the stripes remain in exactly the same places, see photo.
All the image drums on the defective printer are EOL, but after changing the magenta drum in my printer as a test, I was able to print one page, which was then OK with magenta.
After that, however, my printer also refused to work and displayed an EOL drum.
So the fault seems to be with my image drums, although they still show over 25% durability. The green drum looks great so far and I can't see any damage/soiling. Is there anyway to clean them?
Is it possible to reset the EOL image drums again? I have seen that this can be done for other OKI machines with a wire jumper that you have to open at the right time, as there is probably a "fuse" in the new image drum that is blown when it is initialized for the first time.
Unfortunately, 4 new image drums would cost more than a new printer, so I'm grateful for any tips to get it up and running again...
