OKI ES7411 or C712 is not powering up

    Dear friends,

i've got an OKI ES7411 which is not powering on - when i turn on i makes a short clicking sound and nothing happend. Luckily i got an C712 (is working), which is mostly the same with ES7411 to replace the Power supply. This was mostly my thought that the failure will disappear - but it didn't. Changed the switch as well... I have no deeply experience with this model - i'm only an konica /kyocera / brother typ of technician. Has someone knowledge about it? I would think Mainboard - but most brands even showed up with an error code, when main is defective.

    Thank you in advance.

You need to replace the AC Power board, Its common for these to go out on this model, we have replaced quite a few before most of our okis were upgraded in the field.

Hi hellcat, thank you for your response. In the end i tried different things and i took the AC Power Board from an old /defective OKI C712 to ES7411, but i made a mistake and it began to smoke . Regards to the 11 year old machine and the fleetmanager which said, that all toners are going near empty, i decided with the customer to use a bizhub C3301i now.

      Thanks for your reply.
