OKI ES7470 hard drive HDD

Got an OKI ES7470 that needs a drive, I understand I need a Toshiba SED drive but they're not easy to find as most sellers only use the model numbers.

I understand there's a Toshiba bulletin that lists HDD part numbers that were used in the Toshiba version - or any list of compatible part numbers will do.

Don't even mind a used drive as its my own machine and its not mission critical, but I'd prefer to get it working.

This is a Toshiba e347csl. SED-HDD Part # G0-00732000

Likelihood of finding that new is quite slim, do you know if e-Studio 256 257 use the same drive?

... the likelihood of finding that part is 100%. It is the current part # that covers up to an e5015AC.

You can use a e256/e257 SED-HDD. Just format it first otherwise you will brick it.

Can you format a used drive after install in the copier? I read you're not supposed to use a PC.

Also is there a list of everything that was/is in.

You can format a used Toshiba SED-HDD. You cannot use an off the shelf regualr PC HDD.
