Konica Minolta Bizhub C454E Developer unit leaking

    Hi,

My problem started with the printer started to print blank at top of the A4 pages. This was a result of black developer leaking and falling down to the laserunit glass blocking the laser.
I have installed a new black drum and cleaned the laserunit and inside of printer from developer. After that it printed OK for a few hundred prints but now i have the same problem again. Developer everywhere wich have leaked down to the laserunit and blocking the laser.
I think it is developer and not toner because it will stick to a magnetic screwdriver...

I cant understand where the developer is leaking from because there is some developer on the gears but it does not seem to be coming from inside of the gears.
Could you please help me understand what is wrong. If i need a new developer or is the leak because of someting else?

I have attached pictures of the situation.

    Appreciate the help.

We had an 8 series doing that right after initial setup. We noticed that when pushing the image (drum) unit in the slot it had some resistance. We tried another drum unit and it slid in smoothly with no resistance. Evidently the plastic housing of the original drum shipped with the machine must have been deformed or twisted. I would try sliding the drum and developer units in and out and see if they both slide smoothly without any resistance. If one shows signs of being deformed/twisted replace it.

I think OP has another problems but really appreciate your advice.

OP what parts you throw into machine? I mean toner, drum and developer - are they all OEM?

        Thank you for the reply.
Toner is OEM, developer is original since new (300k prints) and the drum is aftermarket (installed recently).
        Checked tcr, tcr-c = 4,81%, tcr-m = 4,89%, tcr-y = 4,97%, tcr-k = 4,93%.
