paper elevator tray will only go down but not up, we have replaced drive pcb and lift motor and still the same problem even in service mode tray will go down but not up.... any thougts ? thanks
The paper tray goes down when there is no paper there. If the sensor that detects paper is covered in paper dust it will always think there is paper there and not go down. It will also do this if the sensor is bad.
