    OKI ES3640e, thinks it is a C9800,

Customer did a factory default reset in the Admin mode. Beats me why that is an option. Now it thinks it is a C9800, and it doesn't like the toner. Looked all over the maintenance menu, but no help. It looks like you need to do a Shipment Set, but that requires sending a pjl_ship.bin file to the printer. Anyone have these resources. Thanks in advance..

Have you tried any other type of reset? I'd try a factory reset once more!

Yes, the factory reset has been done a couple of times. According to the service manual, it needs to be configured to the "Shipment Set". this requires sending a pjl_ship.bin file to the printer. But, I cant locate this file on any of the OEM software. And, being limited on these, not sure how to send the file. Thanks for any help.

I have the same problem did you resolve the issue

my understanding is that you need a firmware update from Okidata
