[Misc] Which mfc for les than $2k?

Hello. First time poster. Our business needs a copier. We are printing about 40k copies per year. We don't need collate or i/o fax. Duplex is optional. Speed is not important. We would like a lot of room for mass quantities of paper so we do not have to reload so often. We will be printing to it from about 6 PCs. We will be scanning and printing almost exclusively. 8.5x11 is the only output, but inputs are all different sizes. Some of our laborers are dusty and have dirty fingers.

We want something freestanding, basic, and bulletproof. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Peace

A 2027 with an LCT would be good for you. They can fit 500 sheets in each standard tray and 2000 sheets in the LCT. Check ebay, there's normally a load knocking around. They require a new photoconductor unit every 60-66k and a fuser rebuild maybe every 150k. They are absolutely bulletproof if you look after them and don't savage them!
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

A Ricoh 2027? There are, I'm assuming, a lot of 2027 out there.
