    Kip 3000 image void area

Hi, sorry it has been awhile since my last visit. all is going well, however the last several months I have had a void area in the image on the prints coming off my kip 3000,\
it hasn't been that bad of an issue usually you can make out what is needed from around it.
The void area looks as if a pick finger has gotten a glob of dust on it, the wonderful folks at KMBC that sold it to me has no service for it nor a clue how to fix anything on it.
I can use so help as to how to break the machine down enough to inspect or clean that area as the biggest builder in my area now wants to use me for their wide format copies
and now my little problem has increased to a big problem in retrospect.
any assistance or a tech manual would be greatly appreciated.

upon reading other forums, I want to state that the void area is continuous about, 1/8 of an inch wide always the exact same area, about 6 inces in form teh left side (looking at the machine) of the 36" wide only print

I would say it has a void on the mag roller for the developer unit. I don't work on these machines but I did have a look at the manual you posted. Might just have some paper dust or similar jammed under the doctor blade.

Cool, thanks, you wouldn't happen to have a page number I can reference would you, I am thinking the same way about the dust.

I didn't save the manual, just had a quick look over it. Pretty easy to find though, its in the section titled "Troubleshooting the image." Crazy isn't it??
