    SEIKO MFD LP1030

I am planning to buy a Seiko LP 1030 . This will be first installation in the country for this manufacturer. So far I haven't heard about this company in this field.
Does anyone has any experience on this machine .Please give me a feedback .

I worked on the Seiko machines for 3 1/2 years. I think they are one of the best wide format machines out there now.
Just don't let any of your clients buy a Kyocera wide format.

Hi David, If you are already a user of Oce & KIP then you should go for Seiko and see the difference. Seiko is more robust machine than others. It is made to do the tasks not to standby. It will give you maximum uptime. It is more reliable and fast in its category. KIP 3100 is 80 mm/sec with 6 D size/min where Seiko lp-1030 too has the speed of 80 mm/sec but its 7.5 D size/min. I have counted 8 A1 size prints in 64 secs. 25% faster. Grey scale is very smooth & dot placement is highly precised with actual dense line gap visuality. Over all good full of feature box. Taste it then tell others how is this.

We have placed over 30 units here, in the NY City area, in less than a year. These machines hold-up very well and are a great value. Highly recommend them.

I can, but why? I repair/maintain Kips too. I prefer to sell the Seiko.
