oki cx2032 wont go to copy function

I just installed an oki cx2032 and it will not let me push the copy function button?
a msg scrolls across "failed to set printer push reset" and it goes to ready but cant make it copy?
it will scan to fax and e mail... and print internally as well..any ideas? is there a reset procedure for this machine? and what is the default mgmnt code?
any help is appreciated .
