    Oki c5800 firmware

I did a "FLASH FORMAT" to solve a erroneous belt error. (I had just replaced the belt with a genuine Oki part) Now the network function does not work anymore. I think the solution is to update the firmware via USB. Can I get the c5800 firmware ?

    Thanks

You need the NIC-Firmware, Web Page Data, and Demonstration Page Data. These data should be flashed to the ROM by means of the Maintenance Utility (via USB).

BTW, the service manual says that you should NEVER execute this item under normal circumstances.

How do I get these files/programs? I contacted OKI technical support and they say the only way to solve the problem is to replace a circuit board (hardware). It seems to really be only a software problem. Can I get the fix on this forum?

I can get ya that firmware... course... it will cost you... and dearly.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

Yeah but my price isn't in money.

I'm sorry. I don't understand. I was hoping I might just be able to get the fix for free.

Sure, if you don't mine paying in a little (maybe a lot) of humiliation.

                  Free? LOL LMAO!
Why do you think you should get it for free? This is your 3rd post. What is it that YOU contribute to the board?
Furthermore, why would a professional take food from the mouth of another tech who would normally get this job?
