okidata cx2033

The mc560 and the cx2033 are identical machines but I have an opportunity to pickup some mc560 toner cheap. I'm worried that the toner cartridge uses a different chip than the cx2033 and that the mc560 toner won't work in the cx2033. Generic chip resellers list the chips as being the same. Anyone know if the toner cartridges for the MC560/C6150 will work in the cx2033?

Appreciate your taking the time to reply but...Are you a tech with okidata experience? Are you aware both machines even use the same factory service manual? We work on a ton of oki equipment (for years now) and I am curious as to how you are so certain it won't work. Based on the strength of your answer I assume that you must have already either tried using the mc560 ctg in the cx2033 or have a good reason why you think it won't work. The cartridges themselves and the toner in the cartridge are exactly the same and the chip being the only possible difference(if it is indeed different at all). In fact.... the starter cartridges that come with a new mc560 and cx2033 have no chips at all. Only after depleting the starter ctg does the machine "look" for the chip.
