Hopefully someone can help. I recently sold a used Hp 9000 MFP to a client ( i deal in ex lease IT) The copier had been working fine for 3-4 weeks until this morning.
Ive had a call from them saying the machine wont boot up properly. When switched on, the machine power cycles and makes the normal noises. But there is no display on the LCD and the Status lights do not light up.
Ive asked them to send a print job to the copier from a Networked PC to see if it would print, I was assuming it was just the LCD display. This failed and the print job just sits in the print queue.
Can anyone help ? Any suggestions ?? I have a spare machine here that is working that I can use for parts if needed.
I can speak to the client over the phone and ask them to check out anything you may think that needs checked. (they are almost 600 miles away, so I cant go to the site)
