    Oce 3155/65 Coolant

Is their anything I can use as a substitute for the coolant... Not sure how this subsystem works on this machine but it appears to be overheating and probably needs this stuff...

This machine will run without any coolant in it at all, the coolant actually cools a glue cleaner roller, that removes glue residue from the fuser belt, The coolant is circulated via a small pump which you can see behind the front cover. the coolant goes through the glue cleaner and circulates around a heat exchanger unit on the back of the machine and returned via the pump. The Oce part No for the cooling liquid is 2981350.
What makes you think your machine is overheating?

It has a jam in the "Imaging unit. I have the service manuals and am trying to figure out how to pull the imaging unit out. (Still haven't, the manual is hard to navigate through) While investigating, I noticed the was no coolant in that system. Thinking that may be causing the jam that is stuck in the image unit... It is a relief to know that I haven't overheated the machine because of no coolant... (I can't tell you what a great help you are)

Hello what do u call imaging unit? would that be the TTF unit? you could use destill water if you really have too, but there's no need it would run ok with out coolant, now your jams could be related to several issues,
1: there is 3 oneway bearings on the main transport drv belt on the back of engine. you could tell if you remove the main timing 1 is by the back on main frame with brass?the other 2 are almost center of engine close to main drive pulley.
2: the ttf unit/imaging as you call it, is driven by a claw on the inside, so is the preheat unit assy, at times this claws slip enough to cause a timing issue mark those claws and maybe later check if mark has moved or not.
3: preheater belt might be worn out is withe but has some grip to it if not is worn out replace
4: the TTF bel there is a shaft with a mag sensor just above 2 black bushings, toner gets inside and zises the shaft causing the ttf/imaging belt to not turn thos causing jams

Thanks so much for your feedback. This machine runs great but is sure hard to trouble shoot. Thanks again...
