Hello there. I'm kind of hoping someone familiar with these dot matrix machines can help me.
I've got one of these 3321 at a customer who uses them to print address stickers.
Some days ago, for no apparent reason, the machine started to add two or three blank lines roughly every 73 lines (it's hard to count lines on these printouts, so it could be 72 or 74).
The customer has a second machine that does not exhibit this behaviour on the same computer with the same data cable, so I ruled these out of the equation - it has to be the printer.
Even after comparing the printer configuration and matching the "bad" machine's config with the "good" machine's config, the problem persists.
I really don't know what else to do, if anyone could give me a clue or something else to try, I'd be very grateful.
I'm attaching the configuration printouts for both machines, as well as examples so you can better understand what I'm talking about.
