We took over an account with an Okidata CX1145 copier. They are having an issue where every print has 4 dots show up along the direction of printing. The small dots are black-cyan-magenta-yellow and are always 63mm from the left edge of the paper. They do not show up in the same spot front to back (it varies - some near the top of the page and some closer to the bottom, but always 63mm from the left edge.)
This dots never appear on copies.
I installed PostScript driver and re-installed the PCL5c driver. The dots occur on prints from both drivers. The dots only occur when printing color.
Our customer also told us that this machine had a major failure two years ago and their previous service company replaced all the boards.
Anybody have any ideas on how to stop the copier from putting these four dots onto each color print?
