    Pagecounters and copier brands

    Good morning, folks.

Can someone please confirm the following to me: The sole difference between, let's say, a Xerox Pagecounter, a Ricoh Pagecounter and any other brand Pagecounter is the interface cable - the terminal itself is exactly the same?

    Thank you!

Is there any labeling on the bottom of the units? If they are all Equitrac PageCounter terminals than the only difference should be the interface cable. If they are branded Xerox or Ricoh terminals then all bets are off because giant corporations have a tendency to do stupid stuff.

PS. Eqiutrac support sucks big donkey balls (I just deleted an entire paragraph-long rant about them but the big donkey balls comment pretty much covered it)
