What would be causing this machine, KIP-1880, to go into a misfeed when loading paper? The machine won't do anything, just says there is a misfeed even though no copy was passed through it. Thank you for any help given

a sensor/actuator is stuck. or a cam is dirty.

You are in trouble, probably the switch detecting the paper is broken.
Your problem is under the fuser unit and it's a mess to change it. Kip has changed the design of the actuator. Before, every time a customer was pulling out the paper from the paper tray(roll enclosure), he was pulling back the actuator and braking it.
I had that several times years ago, when this piece of s... was on field. Thanks to the reps they sold KIP 3000/3100 and we dumped these engines. Even the Chinese, to rebuilt wide formats, don't want this machine anymore..

If you need a switch, I have to dig in the parts stock to find the good one.

Can any one tell what is the password of Network in Kip 3000. I have Kip 3000 plotter and i want that machine on my network printer but its required Key for Using Printer. Kindly help me I will be very thankful to you.

and on the key pad type 8675309 + enter

Explore everything, don't change the setting of the options if not your are loosing your key codes.
Go to network and unlock it.
After that go to configuration 1 or 2 depends of the version you have and change the ip address and every thing you need

Salam,

To print or to scan to file, or to scan color documents, you need key codes. To print PDF also.

Send me the serial number of the KIP 3000 and I will ask KIP what are the key codes this machine had when it was installed the first time.
Send me the serial number of the IPS also.

Take the cover on the back (4 screws on the top, lose the 4 screws on the bottom), look at the controller. Is it white or black?
Unplug: Video, USB for the Scan, Network cable, Serial cable, Power cable,
Take controller off the cavity, take off the top cover, take off the interface and send me its reference and serial number.
By the same way, clean it (with air at the gas station).
