    OKI MB451W scanning

    I am tryuing to set up scanning from the copier to a Mac 10.8.3 using the USB cable. The instructions to do this requires the dvd that came with the machine. The problem is the mac has no dvd drive. Does anyone know how I would accomplish setting up scan to the Mac with USB cable?

      Download all the software from the oki website.

          Thanks Eric1968 for responding. I did look on the website and could noy find what i needed. Since this post, I was able to talk to someone from Oki. This machine does not support scan to Mac using USB. I guess thats why it did not work when we downloaded the software from the website. The only way to scan to the Mac is if the Mac is networked, which this one is not. So, we will network it and then set them up. Thanks again for responding.

              The MB451W has WLAN on board, so you can connect to a wireless router with this machine. If your Mac is also connected to this router you can try to scan-to-email or scan-to-folder.
