KIP 3100 "Roll feeder communication error"

Have little to know experience with KIPs and everyone's on vacation this week so I'm kinda SOL, except for you guys!

KIP 3100, Installed on Wednesday, seemed to work fine. Machine jams, customer clears jam and closes drawer. Roll Feeder Communication Error. Nothing in the service manual and nothing on SSD. I've checked the connections and wiring harness on everything in the drawer and checked the connector that connects when the drawer is closed. All are snug and rebooted machine.

Going to double check that the machine is level, maybe that connector in back is catching all the way. Can't hurt.... any suggestions welcome!

Just keep repating to myself.... three day weekend..... three day weekend........ three..... day.....

check the connections to the drawer and look for pinched wire. That is the only time I have seen this.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Plug seems fine and wiring harness checks out. Seems there's a definite a low voltage/power fluctuation at the customers location. They are going to have an electrician install a new dedicated outlet (should have been that way in the first place) and we'll see what happens.

I ran an extension cord to an outlet directly off the breaker, cleared the codes and it seemed to work well.
