    RISO GR3750 cartridge too long?

Just purchased a GR3750. The ink cartridge sticks out of the Drum too far such that the Ink Cartridge Locking Lever will not clip over the end of the cartridge. It seems to be the original cartridge for the Drum. The cartridge is labeled Risograph Ink Cartridge G1 Red. Is that the wrong cartridge? The Drum locks in nicely and is labeled Bright Red GR Drum. The cartridge just seems to stick out too far. Any idea what's going wrong? Thank you

Most likely it is the wrong cartridge, that's one way Riso tries to prevent people from using the wrong ink in machines.

Thanks. I think you're right. But I am having difficulty figuring out which cartridge to order for my GR3750. Sites show that G1 cartridge I have, which is too long, as compatible with the GR machines.
