    KIP 1880

Why does the machine when trying to copy, the roll of paper keeps backing out and then needs to reloaded. It is loaded correctly and did work with the roll of paper as is then it rolls the paper in reverse?? Message on display is the out of paper roll (icon). Reinstall and watched again with flash light and it is going backwards until paper comes ourt of the guides. I've installed the paper on this and no issues many times before.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

This problem occurs quote frequently on this machine. First I know you said you did but make sure you are loading it correctly, paper comes from the back side of the roll not the front. That being said, the problem is usually caused by the drive roller wearing out. The quick fix is to go to the center of the drive roller about 2 inches from either said of center and make a wrap on the roller with electrical tape. Usually two wraps around the roller is plenty. Make sure you put the same amount of tape on both sides. One other thing you might check first is to make sure the drive gear assembly is not loose or broken(located in the left side of the paper compartment behind the spindle).
    Good Luck
