Panafax UF 8200 Double Feeding Blank Pages

Got a customer that is complaining that their UF 8200 is putting out blank pages. Was out once could not duplicate problem but from customers description sounds more like double feeding 2 pages at once.

    Any help would be appreciated.

For one, this make sure that the customer is not reusing the paper that went through the machine or used paper, this machine does not like that and will double feed every time with used paper. clean the pickup roller and check the paper guides, the metal guides that they are not bent.

Thank you for your reply, what appears to have happened is the heading position had been changed internally which made the paper feed 2 recording papers to get everything on the paper. When do you use our parameters and went to it and inside heading 2 major was on auto reduction and also to make a little save 98% reduction

Thanks for the feedback there. The first thing when troubleshooting these panafax machines which we hardly do anymore is to print out the fax parameters list and [fn>6>4] . Any changes made from the default would be noted by an * symbol on the left of the page next to the parameter, plus on the right would be the default and the change settings if any was made. Sometimes the customers play around and when found out, nobody seems to know who. So the onus is on the tech to do his own fault checking. The service mode has service mode parameters that the customer is not supposed to change, but some manage to do so.
