Im a tech thats going to work with a Panasonic dealer and wondered what interface cables are used between a laptop and the m/c when you have to upload firmware. Ive got to make sure the laptop will have that kind of port built in. Thx!

depending on the model
the colours use a sd card, u upload the firmware from a computer with a sd card holder
all others including the colour also can be done by a crossover cable or usb and for the older models (B/W only) parallel
Panasonic supply the interface software and of course the firmware updates
