    panasonic 1520

    bypass will not feed ,i have replaced the feed clutch ,gear,solonoid and feed roller but the feed is still intermitant .the bypass lifts up ready to feed then drops again before the paper is fed .
    any help apreciated

      lo m8, the plate that holds the paper against the bypass roller can sometimes bend at the joining point of the clutch, thus the paper is not pressured against the roller enough, just bend it back

      there is a T.I for the bypass, they modifed the bypass roller and added a washer. lmk if u need it

        thanks for the reply i tried the metal plate but no go .i even went and borrowed the whole bypass unit from another machine and still no go .i have now ordered a new main board .i will post if it fixes the machine.

          just to let you know the paper feed problem from the bypass was a faulty brand new (according to panasonic) rego clutch it was working but obviously not properly .any way machine fixed and gone back.

            so it was just the solonoid that sits at the back of the machine?
