    Feed Tires

Just wondering about something. I used to work on Panasonics and still know some guys that do. They were saying they go through feed tires like water and I remember always carrying a bunch. Anyone else seeing this especially flat spotting the sep tire?

I remember the hubs always squeaking on the P/U and Sep. and you could swap them (hubs) and it would quit for a while and I remember them going out like crazy. Mostly on the 3510(?) and 2500 series size machines. The ones with the Sep/Pickup being the same and the feed being different. Changed out with a clip on the hub.

    Anyone? Any advice?
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

    Hi m8

the dp2500 series and dp2310 series have the same tyres, the dp3510 series have different tyres

going back to the 2310 tyres, 2 of them r the same and can be swopped if not to badly worn, the flat spot is caused by a spring inside 1 of the 2 tyres. remove the spring and spray wd40 over it then wipe it dry, refit the spring and that should do.

    hope that jogs your memory,

    Regards

    John

      Feed Tires Panasonic

Ever since they came out with new rollers (black to easily spot the difference ) I've had very few problems Pn# dzla000407 for the dp-2500 machines. If you are talking about the 35/45/6010 series they came out with an update as well, changed the roller, gears and spring

Yeah that advice probably helps. The place where I still know some guys who work on them don't use those updated parts I am pretty sure, or at least did not when i was there. I'll pass it along though.

        Thanks!
