How difficult is it to change a complete fuser assembly and reset the code E-04-01 on a DP-2500 Panasonic. Is it expensive for the fuser unit.

2500 fuser are pretty tricky, the hardest part is getting them out, then back in again, the screw at the back under the thick wire loom is a pain!! For E4-01 I would try a lpb fuser reset before anything else, cheapest option, I have reset E4-01 errors before and have had no problems after. -
DP-2500 fuser
I thank you very much for the response. I have not worked on the DP-2500 before and it looked complicated. The fuser rollers are both in bad shape. The unit is very expensive also. I will try and reset it and see if that gets it going. Will have to talk with him about another copier.
