    Panasonic DP4530/6030

    Is anyone having this problem. Either the copies are too lit(washed out) or way overtoned to the point E3-40 and even cleaning it, after a few copies the error code returns. Never had this problem before. Mostly lite copies. Know it always overtones , but not as bad as this point. Before i could vac the MFP and detoned and back the F6-21 and no problem. Know that Panasonic came out of a new toner on this machine. Do performed F8-09 after each developer change. Thanks in advance.

    Do you print out your F5/F6 pages in service mode? If so, e-mail them to me so I can see where all your voltages are at. serviceman@xerographicsupply.com

      I know i never touch any of the settings only for F6 21, 26, 65. Don't have it at this time but can get it and e-mail to you. Thanks for taking the time in looking at my problem.

        Toner problem

        I had two machines within days do the same thing. The problem was when the customer went from using the new toner, then back to the old.
        If your toner has blue writing on it, and has a small PUT symbol on it, it's new. The old toner has black writing and only the PU symbol. I pulled my hair out for several hours. I finally turned off the quantum on the first machine to get it to stabelize, but after the second call for the same thing, i confirmed that it was the toner.

        I am going to replace the developer in mine so that i get the dv unit completely cleaned out along with the drum unit. the redo f8-09 and f8-14 just to be safe.

        good luck

          hi i can help you

          this problem occured with me many times
          first let F5 25 on off and adjust contrast by F6 95 96 97
          let F6 21 more negative and F6 26 = -1
          and copy using F3 in negative mode to get extra toner out
          the image will be clear after many copies
          note: don't use the waste toner in this machine
          do it and tell me
          bye
