Panasonic 6010/4510 PostScript on Mac issue.

I have a client that is running OS 10.5 on a few Macs. He's using the generic PS driver that comes with Mac. For some reason, he's lost all advanced functionaility when it comes to printing. His MacBook pro has the option for duplex in the driver, but it does not come out duplexed. His desktop Mac has no option for duplex or advanced functions.

Panasonic does not seem to have the PS driver for Mac on their download site. I found a driver another site with the installer and I put it on my iBook here @ my office. Same thing, no advanced functionality. I'm not very saavy with Macs and I hope someone here is. I'm going to also post this in the Panasonic forum.

This link half way down has some post script drivers on it. But I don't know if they are the ones your lookin for.

    Download - WORKiO DP-3530, 4530, 6030 | Digital Imaging System | Office Products | Business & Professional | Support | Panasonic Global

You don't want to use the Generic driver unless you have a very limited spec copier for the reasons you list, you cant configure anythng, download the PPD and install it, then go into the Printer/Fax settings in System Preferances and point the copier to the driver you downloaded (where it says Generic driver, click on choose another driver, and scroll down to Panasonic and your model)
Once you have done this you can configure the options for your particular model.
