    the DP8020

I think it's function original size 3 in sequence, or hold the func. key while powering up main rear power with front power on.
HOWEVER, you should be warned: that model must be serviced properly and resetting anything other than a fuser web count is just BEGGING for the unit to self-destruct!! I worked on that nasty little beast, and it's not a high(or even medium) volume candidate. Nice for a few thousand pages a month, because it needs PM's and drums every 15-30k depending on density of prints/copies and whether it's used in 'runs' or 'onesy-twosies'.
Runs are always better for any copier, except a little home-sized toy.
    Hope this helps!
PS GET A SERVICE MANUAL before you start messing around in service mode, or you may create more problems then you solve!!! Take it from a factory-trained Pan. tech.!!!!

press at the same time function, original size ledger and 3, then go to f8, then 06 to see what are all the error codes (one on display can hide another one.).You should not initialize f5/f6 exept if you are willing to rechek a lot of parameters. Instead, do a shippment set.(in f9 mode, ram initialize). Drum last 60k at least, dev up to 120k with sometimes a recalibration in between.

onetek is absolutly right, these are 60k pm machines and the drum will last more usually, not 15-30k as stated earlier in this post. When you get into service mode goto F7, then set F7-03 to zero(0), as that is the PM counter and will shutdown the machine. You can reset F7-06 to zero also, that is the drum count. You can also select F8-14 to do a drum counter reset.
These machine do not have a fuser web either so do not woory about that.

If you still have add paper light you are in need of a new casing, or a new assy., for your paper lift motor.

The only other real problem i have seen is an E code that shuts down the machine because of a clogged filter. Remove the back cover of the machine and the ozone filter will be located in the top right area of the back. air it out to aviod that shutdown.

ALSO if you need a manual or any specific info just send me a message and i will help you out for free. rather than $11.77- this is a forum so we can help each other, not profit off of each other.

Thats what I suspected and thats the reason to look at f8-06. This code is telling you that the machine shut itself of because of an abnormal temperature detected in the fuser unit.Check your fuser then go to f9 mode, then ram initialize then lbp fuser reset to unlock the machine.
