    DP-150FX

Afer replacing the Drum Unit on a Panasonic DP-150FX Copier, I still get the message "Replace Drum Unit" and cannot make copies.

Is there something that must be reset to clear this message and allow copying? If so how do I do it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You dont need a manual for that one. Just get to f7,(press photo/auto+paper tray+1),reset f7-04 to 0. Then press photo/auto+clear to get out of f mode.

Thank you both for the information, I will download the Service Manual for future needs.

Onetek, I was able to enter the F7 area and access the F7-04 counter which is at 29630. However after trying different keys, I was unable to reset the counter to 0. Can you please identify for me which keys I need to press to zero-out this counter.

Thanks in advance for your help.

            Thanks a million Safos ! ! !

I was able to reset the C04 drum count to "0".

I can now make copies but they are extremely light even with the Auto/Photo select key in the "Auto" mode.

How can I make them darker? I presume some adjustments are necessary in F6 (Adjustment and programming), but which code? ? ?

Can someone please help me out with this one as well.

Thanks in advance for your help. It is much appreciated.

If copies are light, make sure your mag roller is clean, and that your transfer roller springs are ok. Then you can increase f6-19 to darken prints. before that, make a copie of your f5-f6 settings by going to f9, then 2, then start.

                  Thanks Safos,

Pardon my ignorance, but how do you indicate a plus (+) or minus (-) sign when entering the value with the keypad to indicate that the value entered in C50 or C51 is a (+) or a (-) value ? ? ?

Thanks again for your professional advice.
