    4510 toner/dev

Does anyone know when Panasonic changed the toner/ dev. formula? We have both PU & PUT in some used 45-60 boxes.

They changed there formula a few years back because of the toner dumping isues ( E 3- 40 ) but this is the inportant thing pu is black label put is blue label if there is black label in the machine keep puting black label toner in the machine only put blue label in the machines only when you use up all of the black label toner the machine will work fine but and this is very inportant if there is blue label toner in the machine you CAN'T put in a black label toner or the next day all your copies will be dark and the machine will really start dumping toner , now you must do a dev change and you might as well keep the black label toner in the machine or if yoy want to put the blue label in thats ok as long as you stick with the blue label in that machine----- so to sum up you can but blue label toner in a machine that had a black label toner but you must never put a black label toner in a machine that had a blue label toner

PS this is for models 3510-45210-6010 3520 4520 6020 also E3 40 is because toner has dumped on the sensor that reads the drum

So PUT toner can be put in a machine that had PU toner but not the other way around. Ok. Thanks for the input. Although, I've seen pink, green, and yellow labels on 35/45/60-10/20 toner bottles before. So I think I'll check the label for either PU or PUT rather than going by the color. Thanks again.

I should clarify when I say blue/black label its the colour of the writing on the label , ie blue writing on a pink background etc.
