    Panasonic 7718 has e2-01 code

Some kind of bypass code. I can use bypass when selected but if switch to front casette the e2-01 code flashes. As soon as I select bypass e2-01 disappears and bypass is ready to feed. There was a little straw in bypaas which I had removed and all looks okay. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

I think E02-01 means that the paper in the cassette reaches the paper high sensor not in the
    specified time.

Thanks Luong Nam. I'll make sure I check behind paper tray and check out motor if no paper jam. Frank

Well Marc ---I owe you a double thank you. Even though you had already given me the pertinent and timely info I always feel that is appropriate to thank those who offer to help . i also try to always give results when job is done.
it would be very shallow of me not to thank Luong Nam for his input and at the same time time take some credit for having learned valuable info from you. Thanks again Marc(That's 3 times and 4 if you count Smarka. FrankConcerto/ActionPhotocopy On Facebook and I only have like 11 friends ,mostly family.

Sorry, not to be an glutton for attention, it was just the way you answered him, It appeared you were referring to my post over there, and kinda wanted to let you know that I finally got through here too.

That's cool marc. This is an excellent website as well as you will find out. I try to go to a few to get maximum exposure as you may get no response on one or two place but may on the 3rd. Frank
