    Dp-1520 helpppppp

Have a client with a DP-1520 that gets very intermittent marks on the printed page that could be best described as an arc type image.

I did hear that Panasonic did have some problems with these machines with static build up or arcing and they actually had a kit produced where you could attach a wire to the frame of the machine for grounding.

If anyone has heard of this PLEASE i beg you to respond. I actually downloaded a pdf a number of months ago - because i thought it was interesting and knew that we had a few clients with this machine. Now do you think i can find that file anywhwere.

    All help greatly received.

Is this the tech bulletin you refering to?
On these copiers, ghost immages can also be caused by old drum/blade, or dirty heat roller due to non oem toner. also the charge corona can leave marks too.
