I had the same problem. Here's the thread I started: http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/pa...ht-copies.html

What solved my problem was increasing f6-21 at intervals of 5 (-15 to -10 for example) and running copies until the they darkened. There are also some other suggestions others posted in my thread that could help if that doesn't.

      Good luck.

Manually add toner until copy density is to your liking; then run the developer set up. You could also remove the LVPS and clean it. 2330/3030 have dirty LVPS causing light CQ all the time.

There is a mod for faulty grounding of the drum flywheel on the back of the machine. Easy way to find out is to ground the flywheel to the frame with a paperclip while making a copy and see if it goes to black.
