If you are running duplex, the output speed would be approx. 30 copies per minute. Is there a code when it jams in the duplex?
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

Any pages jammed on top of each other. One face up and the other face down. If you have this scenario and J31, you could have a bad clucth in the main drive motor.

you said it jams when you do 1 -> 1 (simplex) copy..... I don't think the duplex clutch has anything to do with it. You can try add weight in the actuator in the inverting unit. The inverting unit is the assembly underneath the the fuser unit. remove the cover (below the exit door) with 2 screws, then remove 4 screws to remove the inverter unit, you will see a plastic actuator in the middle of the inverter unit, at the side of the unit, add some weight, so the actuator can move back to the original position faster to prevent jam.

                appreciate your help

the machine is 60 copies per minute but works 32 x per minute
when work is not stuck in 1 1, although it works 32 x per minute, no jams, full, very good

when working in 2 2 J31 attacks letter size
legal, letter r very good full working
