I have a problem with my Panasonic copier DP 8045 WITH AN ERROR CODE E01-01, I need help.

Check these:
1. Home Position Sensor connector is disconnected.
2. Home Position Sensor is defective.
3. Scanner Motor connector is disconnected.
4. Scanner Motor is defective.
5. Scanning Mechanism is defective.
6. DRV PCB connector is disconnected.
7. DRV PCB is defective.
8. SPC PCB connector is disconnected.
9. SPC PCB is defective.
10. LVPS is defective.
If you are not a tech, you may have to call one on that one.

Does the lamp come on when the macine is turned on? Is the platen glass removed? Does the scanner move freely to and fro? As previously suggested, if you are not a tech, you might want to call one.
