[Electrical] DP8020E very black copy

DP8020e Dark copy

I have a problem with a DP88020e giving a very black copy.
The image appears on the copy as normal but has a very black background where there is no image.
It some times give light and dark bands going down the page, with the on off effect of normal machine operation then bad machine operation.
I feel I have a bias problem.

I have had the PCU out and nothing looks out of place. I have cleaned the grounding terminals on the PCU where practical....

All ideas welcome.

As a rule I don't normally work on panansonic brand, but this is a persistant friendly customer.

Have you checked/replaced the corona already,it has to be done on those usualy sooner than later....

Thanks OneTek I shall give it a try.

Whats service mode on this model ? auto select ,config and 3 key all at same time . I'm not sure I can't remember.

Function, original size, 3 in this order, not all at same time.
