[Jamming] Dp-8060 w/j-43 only on duplex

I got a DP-8060, about 500K copies, that comes up with a J-43 only when duplexing, I've cleaned the switchback unit's rollers and dusted off the sensors, Fuser Unit does not even seem to have any paper in the area when it jamms. The jammed paper usually ends up with 2 sheets below the switchback unit, 1 on the transport section about 1 inch or less (leading edge) from the registration roller, and 1 page with one side already printed on the duplex unit section (right below the transport. When copying 4 single to 2 double, one page ends up halfway between the switchback unit and the fuser unit, while the second page ends up on the duplex unit right below the transport or a few mm before the registration roller, I'm thinking it might be one of the solenoids in the drive unit, any suggestions?

I think you may be on the right track.....I vaguely remember having a sticky mech. on that model's
    switchback unit one time.
Unless someone who's Pani-active has more recent/similar experience than this old man?

Run copies from the glass. They will come out face up and the exit solenoid is not used. Run copies from the doc feeder. This uses the exit gate solenoid and the inverter solenoid. It should jam from the doc feeder. Go into F4 service mode, run 104 and 105. This will energize the exit/inverter solenoid. If it hesitates, the solenoid is bad or one of the fingers is bent and catching. Also, make sure the sponges on the exit door are not catching the ends of the exit/inverter fingers. Sometimes, the face of the inverter actuator gets a nick on it just enough to slow the paper and cause a jam. You could adjust the tension springs on the ends of the inverter as well.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
