MISTER
panasonic copier workio 3030 showing this error code EO3-40 after replacing the developer and Black Density Sensor Output Gain Adjustment ("14" Black Density Gain) executed. what could be the problem and how can i solve this?

Open the right door. The CDS pwb sits in the door behind the silver metal baffle and has two sensor cutouts in the baffle. Do these move up and down freely? It is moved up and down by a solenoid. If the transfer roll is changed and the sensors cannot move via solenoid, E3-40 will result. Ensure the little metal tab is installed on top of the rear anchor point of the silver baffle.

Just a little dust on those cd sensors will also throw an E3-40 error....
