    DP 8032 False Jam

Hi Guys, I have a good one here.
I have this 8032 that gives me False Jams.
You turn the box on and it initializes normally.
It sits for about 30 seconds just fine.
Now you know how if you lift the lid and place a document on the glass, the machine perceives it and you can hear the polygon starting to come up to speed and the machine getting ready to process the job that is to follow, this machine does all of that just fine, however, it does it by itself with no interaction from me.
What I cannot tell is if it thinks a job is coming or if this is just an auto-adjust function.
Anyway, it cycle for a few seconds and then shuts down with a right cover jam.
Here is where it starts to get fun.
The jam is just a generic right cover jam with no jam code displayed. Additionally, no jam is recorded in F8-06.
Turning it off and then on will clear the error until it cycles again, and then it happens again.
So I reboot the machine and go into F4 and record the state of all of the sensors.
I return to customer mode and let the machine cycle and jam again.
Once again, there is nothing in F8-06.
I go back into F4 and compare the current states to the recorded states and there is no change to any of the inputs. No jam is seen.
Also, when the false jam occurs, the paper feed never attempts to feed paper. It just cycles down and false jams.
    Any Ideas???

Check the lower left corner of the right door. All of the harnesses feed into the door in that tiny space. I have seen a pinched wire cause this.

What area was addressed on the previous service call before this began? Agreed, sounds like a pinched wire...

What I found out, although I am not sure why, is that it would fault out when it was trying to do an auto-adjust. I turned off Quantum and it has not come back. Weird!!

In my experience, the only Panasonic model that "Quantum" actually works is the DP-80xx series. All other models, I turn it off.
