    DP-8060 Hard Drive Replacement?

Hello everyone We have client with a DP-8060 machine that needs to have there Hard Drives Replaced before returning to the leasing company. We work mostly on the Ricoh line of machines and I was thinking reformatting the Hard Drive should delet all the clients data, am I correct in thinking there is a Service Program that the machine can execute to delet the data or do the Hard Drives need to be replaced?Thank you for any info on this machine

General Settings > Key Operator Mode > number 34 is Hard Disk Initialize. It offers three levels, high being the most passes and puts the machine down for 1 to 3 hours.

Can I use a HDD that's generic and just format it, or are these particular HDD's encrypted from the factory and we have to buy them from Panasonic if replacing one?

I have been told by our tech support person that you can use any hard drive. Just match it to the one in the machine. Buying one from Panasonic is costly. Hard drives are hard drives. If it were me, I would do what Mojorolla said. He is a Panasonic guru.
