interchange FP -1680 and FP1670 toner

hi guys,can somebody tell me whether i can interchange the toner for those model..i mean is it possible for FP 1670 model using the 1680 model toner..i noticed that when i buy the toner there is this code..fq ta19 for 1680 model and ta10 for 1670..whats the code for?any meaning?

They both use the same developer so the toner is the same, but the black end cap is different the tabs that line up with the slots on the toner hopper are not the same,but you may be able to "adjust" them to fit,hopw this helps

so its not interchangeable unless i do the modification right?how bout the ta codes?

thats just a product code for ordering the toner
