    8025/8032

Just got some used ones in. Have serviced 23xx and 30xx for about a year. Just wondering what the 8025/8032 issues are. I have one here that seems to be leaking oil, although the web is not saturated. Maybe it sat up in a wharehouse. I don't know. Are these machines known for web issues like the 23xx, 30xx were? Also, any other input on these would be great.

I've never had the privilege of working on any of these but I thought I remember hearing that they changed the web advancing system on these from that stupid spring system to a one-way clutch. I'm not sure, I may be remembering wrong. Sorry, I can't be more help.

      Good luck!

Your right. It has a one-way on it. Looks like its better that the old garbage.

Pretty much the same machine with an improved web. Most of the 2330 and 3030 parts are interchangeable.

These machines are pretty much the same. I've experienced the same problems with developer, charge roller, fusing web, crooked copies from ADF, etc.. because a majority of the parts are unchanged. It's nice that they improved the web assy. on them though. It still locks up, though not as much. Also on the new style web assy, the solenoid screw backs out causing the web to seize up (fixed with loctite, and hopefully you've caught it before it took out the UFR. Usually indicated by customer calling for a "moaning" noise.) We've noticed that you can order the new style web and it will work with the old 2330/3030 models.

Thanks JVergin. You mentioned ADF skew. I see that on all Panasonics. Any input on tricks of the trade would be great. I have tried just about all the tricks I know and still they skew.
