    Panasonic dp-c264 Toner Waste Container

    Hi, Anyone knows whether emptying the dp-C264 toner waste container will work? Thanks

    Probably not unless you vacuum it out. Look on the backside of it and you will find the clear window that fills with toner and triggers the "Waste Toner Full" indication. If that is dirty, you will get the message even if you have emptied it.

      Yes it does work but you'll get some skweeking noise comming from the dispersing screw inside.

        I empty them out all the time. There's a seal/tape around the middle of the container you have to peel away and one screw that holds the two halves together. Once they're apart you can empty it out fairly easily. Make sure the clear tube on the bottom half is clean and when you rejoin the two halves, be sure that the auger is back in it's proper place. Then I just use black electrical tape around the seam where the two halves meet as a new seal. Works every time for me.

        Good luck and try not to get too messy.

              These things get back ordered for months sometimes. A q-tip works nicely to clean the clear plastic tube. I swear the original black seal is nothing more than black electrical tape to start with.
