    some info about about dp-c266

    Hey guys I'm a sharp tech and today we installed a new unit and uplifted a dp-c266 the customer is talking about putting in a different office but possibly looking us to look after it.

    I was just wandering when they where manufactured or even discontinued the unit has 117k approx on it

      It was introduced in May of 2009. Not a bad machine. In my experience with the Panasonic color, just install a PM kit in it about every 240K and they work well. They will actually go beyond that. Worked on several manufacture color machines in my day and Panasonics have impressed me. Took me some time to get used to them for I have never been trained on Panasonics. But if I can do it, anyone can do it. I would get my hands on as much documentation I could now. Panasonic has stopped making copiers with the exception of a couple of small units. They are into a lot of other stuff.

      Hey, worst case, let it run till you can't make it run, then swap it out and keep the MA.
